Rental Guide

To ensure a smooth rental experience, please read the information below (3-min read).

TAKE NOTE: Minimum rental order is $50.
All prices on our website are for self-collect & self-return unless otherwise stated.

Rental Duration (Self-collect and self-return)

• Standard rental: Up to 3 days. Example: Collect on Mon → Return by Wed.
• All collection & return by appointment only @ A'Posh Bizhub #04-03.
• We will email / whatsapp you to arrange your time slot for collection and return.

Security Deposit (Applies to all clients. Via cash/Paynow only)

During Your Self-Collection

• Check all items are in good condition before passing us a refundable security deposit of 2× the rental amount. Your deposit will be returned to you once all items are returned on time with nothing missing, spoilt or stained.

Setup & Teardown by Dreamscaper

• This is only applicable to clients who have scheduled transport+manpower with us in advance.

• A security deposit of 1.5x your rental amount is payable upon setup completion. Your deposit will be returned to you upon teardown once all props are accounted for in good condition.

Damage, Loss & Packaging

Please take care of all rental items throughout the rental period. The following charges may apply:

• Missing / damaged rental items will be charged at their full retail replacement value.
• Missing / damaged original boxes or packaging: $10 per item
• Fairy lights returned tangled (instead of individually bundled): $10
• Stained fabrics (including backdrop cloths, table runners, batik cloths and shawls): $10 cleaning fee per piece

Item Availability

While every effort is made to fulfil all bookings, there may occasionally be unforeseen circumstances where an item becomes unavailable. Should this happen, we will offer either:

• Replace the unavailable item with another item in our inventory, OR 
• A refund for the affected rental item.

Event Setup & Teardown (if applicable)

This section only applies if you have paid for our setup & teardown service.
It does not apply to self-collection & self-return orders.

• For self-rental items: During checkout, you may optionally add transport and/or setup & teardown services.

• For decor packages: Setup & teardown charges are clearly stated under the "Additional Add-Ons" price list.

** An additional $30 surcharge per condition / per trip may apply for the following:

• Actual Day or Eve of Public Holidays & Special occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.
• Setup / Teardown / Transport 8.30am-10.25am or 10.45pm-12midnight or past midnight ($50)
• Venue where no shelter from carpark to venue / without lift access / above ground with stairs
• Venue with loft areas or unsheltered areas inside the properties (public or private)
• Venue with uneven terrains like slopes, boardwalks, sand, or unpathed areas
• Venue within Sentosa, Changi (all areas), Parks (of all kinds), Gardens by the Bays, Tuas / Jurong Island
• All school campuses such as but are not limited to NUS, NTU, SP, ITE, UWCSEA, etc... 
• All hospitals such as but are not limited to SGH, NUH, TTSH, KTPH, etc...

Change of Event Date

If your event date changes, we will do our best to transfer your booking to the new date. However:

• Transfers are subject to item availability.
• Any expenses arising from the date change, including but not limited to fees that are non-refundable, will be the sole responsibility of the client.
• For last minute changes, please take note that Dreamscaper will not be responsible for any impact on product availability and/or event quality.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Please note that custom-made props, customised items and printed materials are strictly non-refundable once production has commenced or the order has been confirmed.

Cancellation charges for rental items are as follows:

• More than 7 days before collection/event: 50% refund of amount paid

• 4–6 days before collection/event: 15% refund of amount paid 

• No-show or cancellation on the collection/event date: No refund

LIABILITY CLAUSE

• The client is responsible for all rental items from the time they are collected or delivered until they are returned to and accepted by Dreamscaper. Any loss, damage or staining during this period is the client's responsibility.

• Rental items must be used safely and only for their intended purpose. They must not be altered, modified, painted, drilled, glued, repaired or permanently attached to any surface without Dreamscaper's prior written approval. Rental items must not be transferred, sub-rented or used at another venue without Dreamscaper's prior written consent.

• The client is responsible for protecting all rental items from theft, misuse, negligence, weather conditions (including rain and strong winds), excessive heat, water damage and any other avoidable damage.

• Dreamscaper SG Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss or damage arising from the use or misuse of any rental item. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Dreamscaper against any claims, liabilities, legal actions, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising from the rental or use of the rental items.

• Dreamscaper SG Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, accidents, adverse weather, venue restrictions, government regulations or other unforeseen events.
