Dreamscaper's Rental Guide, Privacy Policy, quotations, invoices and any project-specific written agreements shall form part of these Terms & Conditions where applicable. If there is any inconsistency between documents, the following order of precedence shall apply:

  • Invoice
  • Signed Agreement (if any)

  • Website FAQs

Dreamscaper reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our Website at the time of the Client's booking shall apply to that Order.

2.1 No Oral Representations

The Client acknowledges that only written quotations, invoices, Booking Confirmations and other written communications issued or expressly confirmed by Dreamscaper shall be binding.

3. Website Use

You agree to use our Website lawfully and responsibly. By placing an Order, you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement. You must not:

  • use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Website;
  • reproduce, copy or commercially exploit any content on the Website without Dreamscaper's prior written consent;
  • submit false, misleading or inaccurate information.

Dreamscaper reserves the right to refuse service, suspend access or cancel any account or booking where we reasonably believe these Terms & Conditions have been breached. While we endeavour to keep the Website accurate and up to date, Dreamscaper does not guarantee that all information is free from typographical errors, omissions or inaccuracies. Dreamscaper reserves the right to correct any error, update information or amend content at any time without prior notice.

4. Quotations

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all quotations:

  • are valid for 5 business days from the date of issue;
  • are subject to product, inventory and manpower availability;
  • are based solely on the information provided by the Client at the time of quotation;
  • do not constitute a confirmed booking.

Should the Client request any change to the event date, venue, event duration, quantities, design, scope of work or installation requirements, Dreamscaper shall revise the quotation accordingly.

4.1 Concept Artwork & Visual Representations

Any concept artwork, inspiration boards, AI-generated images, renderings, sketches, mock-ups or sample photographs are intended to illustrate the proposed design concept only. Due to lighting, photography, screen settings, seasonal availability and product sourcing, the final setup may vary while preserving the overall design intent.

5. Pricing

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Prices displayed on our Website or in promotional materials may be revised at any time without prior notice. However, confirmed bookings shall not be affected unless the Client subsequently requests changes to the original Order. Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include additional charges that may arise due to:

  • changes to the agreed scope of work;
  • additional manpower or labour;
  • venue restrictions or access limitations;
  • waiting time or delays caused by the Client or venue;
  • overtime or after-hours work;
  • public holidays or special occasions;
  • urgent requests or expedited procurement;
  • additional transport requirements;
  • parking, ERP, loading bay or venue charges;
  • custom fabrication, custom printing or special sourcing.

6. Payment Terms

All Payments must follow the timeline stated in your Quotation or Invoice. We require full or partial Payment upfront before confirming your booking, reserving Rental Items, or commencing any work. Your requested items are not secured for your project until your Payment successfully reaches our bank account and a written Booking Confirmation has been issued to you.

6.1 Standard Upfront Payments

Dreamscaper reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Order if the required Payment is not received by the due date as stated in the Quotation or Invoice.

6.2 Approved Credit Terms (Government, Institutions & Approved Business Partners)

Clients granted approved credit terms (such as 30-day payment terms) must pay all outstanding amounts by the due date stated in the Invoice.

  • Late Payment Interest: Overdue amounts may incur late payment interest at the rate of 2% per month, calculated daily from the due date until full Payment is received.
  • Account Suspension: Where any Invoice remains overdue, Dreamscaper reserves the right to reject future bookings and suspend any upcoming deliveries or Services until all outstanding amounts have been paid in full.

6.3 General Payment Rules (Applies to everyone)

  • Overseas Transfers: If you are paying from overseas, you must cover all bank charges, intermediary fees, and currency conversion costs. The final amount received in our bank account must match the exact amount stated in the Invoice by the due date.
  • No Withholding: If there is a dispute over one specific part of an Order, you cannot hold back the entire Payment. All undisputed amounts must still be paid on time.
  • Debt Recovery: Dreamscaper reserves the right to recover all reasonable costs incurred in collecting overdue Payments, including administrative costs, debt recovery fees, legal costs and court fees, where permitted by law.

7. Security Deposit

A Security Deposit shall be collected in accordance with Dreamscaper's Rental Guide, Quotation or Invoice.
The Security Deposit is collected separately from the Payment and serves as security against the Client's obligations under these Terms & Conditions and the Rental Guide.

Dreamscaper reserves the right to deduct from the Security Deposit any charges arising from the Client's non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions or the Rental Guide, including loss, damage, staining, missing items, late return, cleaning charges, repair costs and replacement costs.

Before any deduction is made, Dreamscaper will inform the Client of the applicable charges and, where appropriate, provide supporting photographs or other supporting evidence. If the total applicable charges exceed the amount of the Security Deposit, the Client shall remain responsible for paying the outstanding balance. Any remaining balance of the Security Deposit will be refunded via the original payment method within 1-2 business days after all Rental Items have been returned, inspected and accepted by Dreamscaper.

8. Booking Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed when Dreamscaper sends you an official Booking Confirmation.

  • Before Booking Confirmation: Your event date and required rental items are not held for you. Other clients can still book the items you want. We do not reserve or “soft book” any items, delivery slots, or staff until payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • After Booking Confirmation: Your event date and rental items are secured and reserved exclusively for you.

9. Rental Period

Unless otherwise stated in the Quotation or Invoice, the standard rental period for self-collection and self-return is up to three (3) calendar days. The rental period commences from the agreed collection, delivery or setup date and time, and ends upon the agreed return, collection or teardown date and time.

Any extension of the rental period shall be subject to Dreamscaper's prior written approval, item availability and payment of the applicable rental charges.

Rental Items not returned by the agreed date and time shall be deemed overdue. Dreamscaper reserves the right to charge additional rental fees, late return charges and any other costs arising from the delayed return.

9.1 Reduction of Rental Period

The rental period stated in the confirmed Booking Confirmation has been reserved exclusively for the Client. Any request to shorten the rental period after booking confirmation shall not entitle the Client to any refund or reduction in charges unless expressly agreed by Dreamscaper in writing.

10. Collection & Return

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all self-collection and self-return appointments shall take place at Dreamscaper's designated premises by appointment only. The Client is responsible for ensuring that all Rental Items are collected and returned on the agreed date and time.
Rental Items shall be returned:

  • in the same condition as when collected, fair wear and tear excepted;
  • all Rental Items are returned in the correct quantities;
  • complete with all accessories, components, packaging and instruction materials (where applicable); and
  • properly packed to minimise the risk of damage during transportation.

Acceptance of the returned Rental Items shall only occur after Dreamscaper has completed its inspection. Any defects, missing items or applicable charges identified during inspection may be communicated to the Client after the return appointment.

10.1 Use of Third-Parties

If the Client appoints or authorises any third party, including a courier service (e.g. Lalamove, Grab, Gogox), family member, friend, colleague, employee or other representative, to collect or return the Rental Items on the Client's behalf, such person shall be deemed to be acting on the Client's behalf.

Dreamscaper shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, mishandling, delays or theft arising during collection, transportation or return by the Client's authorised representative. The risk of loss or damage passes to the Client immediately upon the Rental Items being handed over to the Client's authorised representative. The Client remains fully responsible for the Rental Items until they have been returned to, inspected and accepted by Dreamscaper.

When returning Rental Items through an authorised representative, the Client shall ensure that all items, particularly fragile items , are properly packed, secured and placed in their original packaging or boxes (where provided) to minimise the risk of damage during transit.

Any loss or damage incurred during collection, transportation or return due to mishandling by the Client's authorised representative or improper packing by the Client shall be fully chargeable to the Client and may be deducted from the Security Deposit, where applicable.

11. Delivery, Setup & Teardown

Where Dreamscaper provides delivery, setup, or teardown services, the Client must ensure:

  • the venue is fully accessible at the agreed time;
  • loading bay and lift access are available; and
  • all necessary permits, approvals, and venue clearances have been obtained.

Delays & Access Issues: Dreamscaper is not responsible for delays caused by venue restrictions, security clearances or unavailable lifts. If we are unable to complete the Services because the information provided by the Client is inaccurate, access is unavailable, or the actual site conditions are unsafe or significantly different from what we were informed, Dreamscaper reserves the right to refuse or suspend the work. Any resulting waiting time, overtime, additional trips, repeat attendance, aborted trips, extra manpower or other reasonable costs incurred by Dreamscaper shall be chargeable to the Client at Dreamscaper's prevailing rates.

Post-Setup Integrity: Once Dreamscaper has completed the setup, we accept no liability for any loss, damage, instability, or safety issues resulting from the Rental Items being moved, dismantled, modified, or interfered with by the Client or any third party without our written approval.

Setup Acceptance: Unless the Client raises any objection before Dreamscaper's personnel leave the venue following completion of the setup, the setup shall be deemed to have been inspected, accepted by the Client as complete and satisfactory, and performed in accordance with the agreed scope of work.

11.1 Third-Party Interference & Vendor Coordination

The Client is responsible for coordinating the venue, event planners, and all other third-party vendors to ensure they do not interfere with Dreamscaper’s setup.
Dreamscaper is responsible only for our own Rental Items and Services. Dreamscaper will not be responsible for matters outside our reasonable control, including:

  • any loss, delay, or damage caused by the negligence or poor performance of other vendors;
  • issues arising when our items are used alongside equipment or structures supplied by others; or
  • inspecting, supervising, or verifying the safety of installations set up by any third party.

11.2 Structures, Equipment & Installations Supplied by Others

Where Dreamscaper installs, hangs, secures or decorates any Rental Items or decorative materials onto any structure, equipment or installation supplied by the Client or any Third Party (including but not limited to trusses, stages, exhibition booths, display frames, arches, marquees, tents, scaffolding or other supporting structures), Dreamscaper shall only be responsible for ensuring that the Rental Items supplied and installed by Dreamscaper are reasonably secured at the time of installation.

The Client warrants that any structure, equipment, installation or surface nominated by the Client or any Third Party for Dreamscaper's installation is structurally sound, stable, suitable and capable of supporting the intended installation. Dreamscaper shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense arising from any latent defect, inadequate structural integrity, hidden weakness, pre-existing condition or unsuitability of such structure, equipment, installation or surface.

Dreamscaper shall not be responsible for the structural integrity, stability, suitability, load capacity, movement, vibration or failure of any structure, equipment, installation or surface supplied or designated by the Client or any Third Party.

Dreamscaper shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay or disruption arising from the failure, movement, instability or collapse of any such structure, equipment, installation or surface, or from any modification, interference or subsequent work carried out by the Client or any Third Party after Dreamscaper has completed its installation.

Where Dreamscaper reasonably believes that any structure, equipment, installation or surface supplied or designated by the Client or any Third Party is unsafe or unsuitable for the intended installation, Dreamscaper reserves the right to refuse, suspend or modify the installation until the issue has been rectified, without liability.

11.3 Outdoor Events & Weather Risks

For outdoor events, the Client acknowledges and accepts the risks associated with weather conditions, including rain, strong winds, excessive heat and other adverse weather.

  • Safety First: Dreamscaper reserves the right to modify, relocate or decline to install certain items (such as tall backdrops, arches or lightweight props) where our team reasonably determines that weather conditions pose a safety risk to persons or may damage the Rental Items.
  • Suitable Alternative: If weather conditions make part of the setup unsafe, Dreamscaper may modify or omit certain items for safety reasons. As the booking, manpower and inventory have already been reserved, such changes shall not entitle the Client to any refund or reduction in charges. Dreamscaper will work with the Client to implement a suitable alternative.
  • Backup Plan: We strongly recommend that the Client arranges a suitable indoor backup location ("Plan B"). If the setup needs to be relocated at short notice, relocation shall be subject to Dreamscaper's availability and may incur additional labour or transport charges.

11.4 Electrical Supply & Power Requirements

Dreamscaper provides decorative lighting only. Unless expressly agreed in writing, Dreamscaper does not carry out electrical installation works, rewiring, concealed cabling, floor trenching, wall modifications, ceiling works or any other works requiring a licensed electrical worker or other licensed trade.

The Client shall ensure that adequate and safe electrical power points are available within reasonable proximity to the installation area and that the venue's electrical supply is suitable for the intended use.

Dreamscaper shall not be liable for any delay, additional costs or inability to complete the installation arising from inadequate, inaccessible or faulty power supply, or the absence of suitable electrical infrastructure at the venue.

12. Client Responsibilities

12.1 Inspection Upon Receipt

During self-collection or upon delivery of the Rental Items, the Client is responsible for inspecting all items immediately. The Client must notify Dreamscaper in writing (with supporting photographs where applicable) of any defects, pre-existing damage, or missing items within three (3) hours of receiving the Rental Items.

If no notification is received within this period, the Rental Items shall be deemed to have been received in good condition. Any subsequent claim that the items were defective, damaged or incomplete upon receipt may be rejected, and the Client shall remain responsible for any applicable repair or replacement charges under Section 18.

12.2 Client Responsibilities during Rental Period

The Client shall exercise reasonable care in the handling, storage and use of all Rental Items throughout the rental period. Rental Items shall only be used for their intended purpose and shall not be altered, modified, painted, drilled, glued, repaired or permanently affixed to any surface without Dreamscaper's prior written approval. The Client shall not transfer, lend, sub-rent or relocate any Rental Item to another venue without Dreamscaper's prior written consent.

Rental Items shall not be left unattended in publicly accessible areas unless otherwise agreed by Dreamscaper. The Client shall take reasonable precautions to protect all Rental Items from theft, misuse, vandalism, rain, excessive heat, water damage, strong winds and other avoidable causes of damage. The Client shall promptly notify Dreamscaper upon discovering any loss, damage or incident affecting the Rental Items.

13. Changes to Confirmed Orders

Once a booking has been confirmed, any request to amend the Event Date, venue, rental period, quantities, design, Rental Items, Services or scope of work shall be subject to Dreamscaper's prior written approval. Dreamscaper reserves the right to revise the Quotation, Payment, manpower requirements, transport charges, rental charges and any other applicable fees arising from the requested changes. Any amendment shall only take effect upon Dreamscaper's written confirmation.

13.1 Client Information

The Client shall ensure that all information provided to Dreamscaper, including venue details, measurements, floor plans, photographs, schedules, access requirements, loading and unloading arrangements, quantities and other specifications, is accurate, complete and up to date.

Dreamscaper shall not be responsible for any delay, additional costs, redesign, rework or inability to perform the Services arising from inaccurate, incomplete or late information provided by the Client.

14. Change of Event Date

Where a Client requests a change of Event Date after booking confirmation, Dreamscaper will use reasonable efforts to accommodate the request. Any change of Event Date shall be subject to:

  • availability of the Rental Items, manpower and transport;
  • payment of any additional costs reasonably incurred by Dreamscaper; and
  • Dreamscaper's written approval.

Dreamscaper shall not be responsible for impact on event quality arising from the requested change.

15. Cancellation

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Unless otherwise agreed by Dreamscaper in writing, cancellation charges shall apply as follows:

  • More than seven (7) days before the agreed collection date or Event Date: 50% refund of the Payment received.
  • Four (4) to six (6) days before the agreed collection date or Event Date: 15% refund of the Payment received
  • Three (3) days or less before the agreed collection date or Event Date, or failure to collect the Rental Items or proceed with the Event: No refund.

Any cancellation refund shall exclude any amounts paid or payable for Custom Items, Specially Procured Items or any non-refundable third-party costs incurred by Dreamscaper. The cancellation charges set out in this Section represent a genuine pre-estimate of Dreamscaper's losses arising from inventory reservation, manpower scheduling, administrative work and lost booking opportunities.

16. Custom Items & Specially Procured Items

Custom Items and Specially Procured Items are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable once procurement, production, fabrication, printing or customisation has commenced, or once the Order has been confirmed, whichever occurs earlier.
Where applicable, Dreamscaper reserves the right to invoice the Client for any costs already incurred.

17. Item Availability & Substitutions

While Dreamscaper will use reasonable efforts to provide the Rental Items specified in the Quotation, all Rental Items remain subject to availability and unforeseen circumstances.

Where an identical Rental Item is unavailable due to damage, loss, late return by another client or other unforeseen circumstances, Dreamscaper may substitute it with a Rental Item of similar style, function or value.

If no suitable substitute is available, Dreamscaper's liability shall be limited to refunding the rental fee paid for the affected Rental Item.

17.1 Colour & Natural Variations

Slight variations in colour, finish, texture, dimensions, materials, artificial flowers, foliage, decorative elements or other aesthetic details between photographs, concept artwork, sample images and the final setup shall not constitute a defect, provided that the overall design concept is substantially maintained.

18. Damage, Loss & Missing Items

The Client is responsible for all Rental Items from the time they are collected, delivered or set up until they have been returned to and accepted by Dreamscaper. The Client remains responsible for the charges set out in this Section regardless of whether a Security Deposit was collected.

18.1 Damage & Excessive Wear

Where a Rental Item is returned damaged, stained or in a condition beyond fair wear and tear, Dreamscaper may charge the reasonable costs of inspection, cleaning, restoration or repair. Where repair is not reasonably possible, Clause 18.2 shall apply.

18.2 Loss & Theft

Where a Rental Item is lost, stolen or requires replacement, Dreamscaper will charge up to the reasonable retail replacement value of the affected item(s).

18.3 Missing Packaging & Incomplete Returns

Certain Rental Items are supplied with protective packaging (including bags, boxes, cases or wrapping materials) to facilitate their safe storage and transportation. If such packaging is not returned, Dreamscaper may charge the reasonable cost of replacing the missing packaging.

18.4 Vintage & Irreplaceable Items

Where a lost or completely destroyed Rental Item is vintage, discontinued, handcrafted, antique, or otherwise not commercially available, Dreamscaper will determine a fair market replacement value based on current sourcing costs or independent appraisal. We will provide the Client with an itemised breakdown of these replacement costs.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dreamscaper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or economic loss, including loss of profits, business, revenue, goodwill, opportunity or reputation arising from or in connection with any Order.

Dreamscaper's total liability arising from any Order shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for that Order, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Dreamscaper shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, cost or expense arising from the Client's failure to follow Dreamscaper's instructions regarding the use, handling, storage, transportation, installation or operation of the Rental Items.

20. Force Majeure

Dreamscaper shall not be liable for any delay, interruption or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms & Conditions where such delay, interruption or failure results from circumstances beyond Dreamscaper's reasonable control, including adverse weather, traffic conditions, accidents, venue restrictions, government regulations, labour disputes, supplier failures, utility outages, pandemics, acts of God or any other unforeseen event.

Where a Force Majeure event occurs, Dreamscaper will use reasonable efforts to minimise disruption. Any refund or rescheduling will be considered based on the nature of the event and the work already performed.

21. Indemnity

The Client shall indemnify and hold harmless Dreamscaper, its directors, employees, contractors and agents against any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:

  • the Client's breach of these Terms & Conditions;
  • the Client's misuse or negligent use of any Rental Item;
  • any injury, death, or property damage caused by the Client or persons under the Client's control; or
  • any claim brought against us by your guests, venue, event planners, or other vendors, arising from issues or delays that are outside of Dreamscaper’s direct control.

22. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to photographs, designs, concepts, styling plans, mood boards, quotations, renderings, drawings, artwork, graphics, website content, text, logos and other materials created or supplied by Dreamscaper shall remain the property of Dreamscaper unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The Client shall not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish or commercially exploit any such materials without Dreamscaper's prior written consent.

Where the Client provides artwork, logos, images or other intellectual property for use in an Order, the Client warrants that it has obtained all necessary rights and permissions for such use and shall indemnify Dreamscaper against any claim arising from the Client's infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights.

23. Photography & Marketing

Unless the Client notifies Dreamscaper in writing before the Event Date, Dreamscaper may photograph or video the completed setup and use such photographs or recordings for its portfolio, website, social media, advertising, marketing, competitions, publications and other promotional purposes.

Dreamscaper will use reasonable efforts not to intentionally disclose confidential information or capture identifiable individuals as the primary subject without appropriate permission where required by law.

This clause shall not apply where the Client expressly instructs Dreamscaper in writing that photography or publication is prohibited.

24. Privacy

Dreamscaper collects, uses and discloses personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore.

By engaging Dreamscaper's products or Services, the Client consents to the collection, use and disclosure of personal data reasonably necessary for the administration of the Order and the provision of the Services.

25. Notices & Communications

Any notice, approval, consent, request or other communication under these Terms & Conditions shall be made in writing.

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, written communication includes email, WhatsApp or any other written electronic communication method expressly accepted by Dreamscaper.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that the contact details provided to Dreamscaper remain accurate and up to date.

26. Assignment

The Client shall not assign, transfer or novate any rights or obligations under these Terms & Conditions without Dreamscaper's prior written consent.

Dreamscaper may assign, transfer or subcontract any of its rights or obligations where reasonably required to perform the Order.

27. Waiver

Any failure or delay by Dreamscaper in exercising any right or remedy does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.

A waiver is effective only if made in writing by Dreamscaper and applies only to the specific matter for which it is given.

28. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

29. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with the applicable Quotation, Invoice, Rental Guide, Privacy Policy and any written agreement expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between Dreamscaper and the Client in relation to the Order.

They supersede all prior discussions, negotiations, representations, understandings and agreements relating to the same subject matter.

No amendment or variation shall be binding unless made in writing and accepted by Dreamscaper.

30. No Partnership or Agency

Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions shall be construed as creating any partnership, joint venture, employment relationship or agency between Dreamscaper and the Client.

Neither party shall have authority to bind or incur obligations on behalf of the other unless expressly agreed in writing.

31. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

32. Dispute Resolution

The parties shall use reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions through good faith negotiations before commencing legal proceedings.

If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within thirty (30) days after written notice of the dispute is given by either party, either party may commence proceedings in the courts of the Republic of Singapore, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

33. Third Party Rights

Only Dreamscaper and the Client have rights under these Terms & Conditions.
No third party (including any event venue, wedding planner, guest, family member or other person) has any right to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore.
